The following is the course objective and outline.
Course Objective: Chiropractic Developmental Care: Red flags associated with interrupted pediatric development
Course Overview and Implementation: This is a 2-hour course focused on chiropractic pediatric developmental care. The last four years have impacted typical pediatric development. Child cases of POTS, impaired cardiac function, stroke, and motor planning are increasing. Pediatrics is a special population. It is imperative to acknowledge and assess a child thoroughly. When intervention is offered early, and targeted dysfunction can be reversed.
COVID and post-COVID are unique periods of time that no one had a point of reference to realize how this would impact pregnancy, birth, and child development. Many medical pediatricians are speaking out against the practices that were and are utilized with children. The interesting part is they are speaking about nutrition, vaccine injury, chronic illnesses in children and why supporting families and children is necessary for the well-being of future generations. Chiropractors have been saying this since the inception of our profession.
Chiropractic developmental care looks at the whole child. The five categories of pediatric assessment create the child blueprint. This program will guide you through the process of assessing children and provide each child with essential health care.
